Ok, so again I just got back from "eating" and having coffee with my beautiful girls. I swear we always eat and chill and chat like we moved away and just got back from another country. I LOVE times like this.. sends out #happyendorphins everywhere in my body :) Good times. I recommend to at least have time alone or with friends away from your everyday life at least one a week.. helps you release #happyendorphins as well as improves your day to day life. We had coffee at Starbucks in Reading Cinema's.. then drove to Denny's on Victoria St to do what we do best "EAT".. #Bliss...
While catching up with the girls.. We started talking about relationships..this was quite funny as it brought up such funny memories.. I've been though so much with guys and these girls knew exactly every boy I dated (Not that I had a list of boys) but the few I had.. they approved. hehe. I think?
Anyways, we started talking about one of the guys I dated back in college.. we went out for 3 years? and it was like my first 'Serious' relationship. We were together in school and for a bit after school finished. It was a whirlwind relationship.. heaps of good times and heaps of bad times as well. But what's the perfect relationship in your teen days? #cheekygrin.
Bascially from all the relationships I've had.. I've learn't a hell of a lot. My college sweetheart broke my heart after 3 years.. think we started dating so young we just needed time to explore ourselves.. (well that's the way I looked at it?) we were on and off after that..I think I lost trust in him altogether after he cheated the first time.. but in the name of 'Love' apparently.. I took his ass back. We worked it out. He pleaded for forgiveness and after the history we made I just couldn't let him go.
Time went past.I ended up resenting him.. resenting myself. Started working late. Started to explore drinking more. Clubbing with the girls. Student Nights was a must. I just didn't see this guy as the love of my life anymore. I felt like 'Paying him back' so I cheated on him (not one of the finest moments) but it did release a burden in me, I guess? or maybe that was my turn to experience something different. I didn't sleep with anyone if that's what your thinking. But once you kiss someone other then your man.. that's plain #cheating to me. So I took that risk and did.
Felt guilty for a little bit after that. Told him. Silent for at least 20mins and then he said 'That's ok,now were even.' (Which to me, sounded weird) was expecting to be dumped on the spot, but he just said 'Ok,no more playing up?' ...Stayed together still. We were like that couple that everyone knew about #notbeingcocky or anything. But it was like 'he completed me' almost. Well.. that's how it felt. It was like.. 'right this is it..this is the guy im stuck with forever, live with it'... #beingtocomfortable in a relationship almost begins to define you somehow.
3 months later - his best friend rings and says 'Im sorry, I think your a real cool chick.. but I can't lie for #thisguy anymore' .....he's been cheating on you for awhile now. #worldcollapsed. it was like this rush of adrenaline hit me and I wanted to know 'Why?' ... took awhile to finish 'crying a river' and then I had the balls to ring him and blow his ass up.
We were good while it lasted... but boys will be boys when your young I guess.
Moral of this story -
We broke it off. Didn't talk for about 2 years. Hated his guts. Got over it. Started talking to him again and now were back to being friends. I left alot of details out only because I could honestly write a book right now about my life... so I'll keep it short. #LOL.
Im happily married now. I have a beautiful baby girl. and have 'TOTALLY' learn't alot from my past relationships. I think the problem with girls today is they find guys and think that they can change them into the guy they want him to be.. they repeatedly go back to guys who hurt them emotionally and physically and they choose to believe EVERYTHING guys says to them - especially girls who find it hard to be alone so they settle for anything..
I just think, personally, we as women need to experience life at all levels. Find out what hurts you and what doesn't. Find out how to love and how to show love. Experience guys without commitments (in saying this I don't mean -be a slut) be a social butterfly. Network.. find someone you know you can chat with and enjoying having around.. build something from there. You can never get into a relationship without being completely ready.. although it is a must to 'know what your dealing with' before you take things further.
Whatever has happened to girls in bad relationships - they tend to carry it on to the next. I think we are personally just genetically born with that - the ability to feel sorry for ourselves over and over again. #sighs.
I'm not writing that to diss my ex at all because we algood now.. but it's just to purely prove a point. 'Girls - don't play the victim' if you know your man cheated - then he will do it again. 'Players gonna play honey' If he does it twice and you choose to ignore it 'danggg there goes your self-esteem' No guys perfect - no girl is either... but for the girls that let there men step all over them... pick up your dam balls and remind yourself - 'I'm beautiful'
Don't play the fool twice honey.
-it will all work out at the end :)
With Love.

- Rugby World Cup, NZ, 2011 / FANZONE.
Rugby World Cup has been one of the biggest events to happen in NZ this year. It is amazing to see everyone get into the action supporting there country. Its been such a cultural experience seeing everyone from around the world come to support there team.
Over here we see 'Samoan Supporters' from Porirua also known as P-Town. They have decided to do a car parade where they drive around picking up cars representing Samoa and drive around the city. In this case they drove to mine but my baby was asleep so I had to pass. haha. But nice effort I must say.. Shot Cousins. :p
Samoan Supporters getting into the spirit. Heading in 'Fanzone' in the city to watch Samoa VS South Africa :)
AMAZING buildings at 'Fanzone' Wonderful Art Work which changed colour constantly. They took a ordinary building and put a creative art piece which worked wonderfully. There were also 4 other buildings with different designs as well.
These effects however only worked at night. But it lit up the whole area which was fun.
'GO SAMOA' |
'BABYGIRL AT FANZONE' |
Getting into the action. Totally zoned in to support 'SAMOA' |
Over all it was a good experience.. My baby girl got to see the action in the City. It was a good family environment when we went, no one to over-the-top intoxicated and there were plenty of police and authority figures around to guard the place to. Samoa unfortunately lost that game but it was awesome to see Samoans come together to support there Pacific Nation.
'SAMOA MO SAMOA'
With Love.
