Another Sunny Day.

Saturday - Family Day. We woke up.. Sun was beaming here in Wellington. It was Isis's papa's birthday to. We gave him his present, made brekkie then he went to his Church meeting. Me, Isis and her dad went for a cruise out to Porirua, looked at a few shops.. (we were actually going to look for clothes for me) but I ended up buying clothes for Isis. Argh! Doesn't help most baby clothes look better then Adult Clothes. Ha!

Had lunch at the local Bakery in the mall, drove to pick up my little cousin Laumua from home and headed back to our place. Sun was so hot it was literally making me fall asleep, lol. Was a very productive day, we came home and I tried to teach Isis how to potty train, we made a chart to let her be encouraged to go toilet, we proposed if she was able to go toilet by herself without a nappy to assist then she will get a sticker every time and at the end of the week will give her a treat, trying to get her into a routine. So lets hope for the best this year with her potty training :)  we finished off the day by having ice-cream at home and watching movies. Just a Typical Weekend!

Molly Time.

Thursday Night was mothers day off for me - it is compulsory for me to always have at least one night to chill with the girls, keeps me sane, relaxed and just time to chill out. Always good to have Adult company handy - even if you choose to go for a walk alone or simply sleep, always take time out to look after you :)

We went for dinner in town. Tried out 'Cadillac Diner & Churrs Bar' in Willis Street, The burgers were huge - I ordered the 'King Kong' Combo and I couldn't finish it, (It is the picture in the middle) But it was superb! Very filling, Topped of with a yummy fudge brownie with Ice-cream for dessert. Mmmmmm. You must try it out if you are in the city sometime, they open late to.

Night was awesome, We played pool in the Diner then went for a walk around town after dinner, finished off the night with a cruise to Oriental Bay Beach with some hot chocolates. #HappyEndorphins,

Came home feeling refreshed and happy ready to start a new day.

Cheers to Life & good company,

My Big Girl.

Alot has happened since the last time I blogged. My Sister in law moved to Melbourne, One of my Childhood girls had her First Born in Sydney - 'Zachariah' #Blessing... Yes Australia is taking all my loved ones.. Heaps of Family Celebrations & alot of other random things in between.

Isis my big girl has grown up so much - She is talking more clearly, pronouncing words effectively and using alot more verbal and oral communication. I am just one very stunned and happy mum.

I love being a mommy for several reasons, one being how much 'Love' and 'Time' actually goes into taking care of someone else.. I love it. I love having to be responsible and making choices on my own that benefit the well-being of my own child, regardless of what others feel and (I know first hand that everyone will have a opinion on how people raise their kids) but what's parenting without it's challenges huh?  I especially love buying new outfits and trying out new dishes to make for my little one as well as the whole family.

Working in Childcare I've learned so many new things - I've learnt all sorts of foods kids love to eat and different activities to keep them occupied, so much effort goes into maintaining good relationships with children especially those with a high tendency to rebel, but again that's another good way to learn different techniques on how to deal with those situations. I love it :) I love having a job that isn't repetitive and boring although I'm doing casual hours I don't get the thrill sometimes of getting paid on a regular basis, but for now it's something and it's actually something I love, so will see how it goes :)

My princess loves to dance, sing, draw, read books and to my surprise she loves to help out with cooking, dishes and anything that including 'making' or 'creating' something.. She does have her way of getting out of cleaning up.. but her daddy always sets her straight and it's quite funny how she response to that, she's quite a little actress this girl.

It is so important to 'Praise' your child whenever they do something good, it really boosts there confidence and makes them super excited to do something else that they know will make you proud. Even better starting at a young age.. the way their face lights up whenever they know they done something good - it sure the most priceless thing ever.

With Isis, we have taught her the importance of 'Please' and 'Thank you' she uses these words quite a lot now which is very rewarding to us parents, again very important to use these words in our everyday lives.

These few months our family have had a few changes in all areas of life - all in a good way. Had a few trips in the beginning of the year to Auckland for different occasions so it was quite hectic at the beginning of the year, but it was worth the Adventure to kick start a amazing year ahead.

Mother Duties continues for me - Husband is all that I could ask him to be and more (Cheesy,I know) but he is quite amazing and very thankful to have him with me to enjoy the joys of Parenthood especially married life - All is good in the Hood baby.

Still a lot more to learn - can't wait..

Until Next Time. Stay Beautiful.

With Love.
