31 Weeks.

How far along? 31 Weeks.
Maternity Clothes? Thank God for tights, Jean Tights, Loose long tops this week. Especially Trakkies and all Husbands and brothers Jersey's. Ha!
Stretch Marks? No new Stretch Marks.. Phew.
Sleep? Not to bad this week - although I did have a moment where I was in literal pain and woke up in tears because my back was so sore.. Argh!
Best Moment this week? Setting up for my First Princess 'Isis' 3rd birthday this weekend & experiencing Staglands Farm, Upper Hutt for the first time. #FamilyTime. Very beautiful!
Miss Anything? Miss fitting into my zip up jeans, lol. Ha!
Movement? Tons! She's was very active this week. Lots of random kicks here and there :)
Food Cravings? Again Spicy food - still can't get enough of Thai food! Not good, because after I eat it I usually get heartburn. Haha! #NoGood.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not really, although not really feeling KFC that much anymore. Good thing! Ha!
Gender? Girl!
Labour Signs? Thought I did because of the pain I felt this week, but again it was just my lower back - needed support! Thanks to my girl (Kiki) for providing me with a Pregnancy Belt today. Haven't tried it yet, but hope it helps. #FingersCrossed.
Symptoms? Constant back pain and being short of breath this week. So annoying! Lol.
Belly Button in or out? Out :)
Happy or moody most of the time? This week, the only thing that kept me happy was knowing it was my babygirl's 3rd birthday, so despite being in pain and not feeling like doing much - that was the only reason keeping me on my feet this week.
Looking forward to? Seeing Dr Schenk this week - Antenatal Clinic, to go through birthing plan as I had a Caesarean for my first bub!

Isis Godmother: Raylene Lolo

So I never believed in this theory, the one where it says every child
must have Godparents or people whom our kids go to if by
chance something terrible ever happened to us.
But after thinking about it for the whole 9 months that I
was carrying my Princess Isis, I realized - well, if anything did
ever happen to me or my husband, whom will I trust whole-heartedly to
take care of my Isis in this worst care scenario. Heaps of people came to
mind, my aunties, uncles, cousins - YES, every single one of my
family members would count as the next of kin in these situations,
but for this 'Godparent' status, I opted to go with one of my best friends - Ray!
Not because I know she will do a better job then my family, because
equally they help me towards her upbringing, It's just
when I thought of the 'Godparents' I thought of 'Trust' and I've grown up
with this chick for so long - that she practically had my back in everything I've
faced. So if I had to pick someone that very minute it was her!

We went to the same college, I was part of her family as she was with us,
her dad called us crazy and we went through heaps of 'First's' together, Ha!
13 years we've been tight and I just knew that she would take care of my girl as if she
was her own :)

Now we have both grown up and have kids of our own. 1 year ago she gave
birth to my little samoan / maori nephew: 'Paxton Tafao Lees' whom she carried beautifully
even when it came to the delivery room - she was one 'Superwoman' when it came to
Natural Birth. It was an Amazing experience being there to witness that for the first time!

Ray & Pax.

So far, she's done a lot of unexpected things for Isis and me
and I'm very grateful for having her as one of my
closest girls and G.MA - ASLR.

This one's for you G.
If there was ever a girl I knew would fight for me if she
needed to - this was her, wouldn't want to make her mad! Ha!

Homegirl for Life.

30 Weeks.

How far along? 29 Weeks + 6 Days / Every Sunday is a new week, She's the size of a Pineapple now! Woop.
Maternity Clothes? Haven't brought any Maternity clothes since carrying my 2nd bub. Although my sister-in-law in Melbourne surprised me with some lovely tops, think she was sick of me saying I looked like a Parachute with the Tops I was wearing. ha! (Thanks Kailah)
Stretch Marks? Yes, unfortunately! Boo.
Sleep? Not to good this week, have been up 3x max in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom - very annoying! Usually have afternoon naps when possible and have been getting reasonable amounts of sleep in's, now that I've finished work! Bonus :)
Best Moment this week? Visiting my Midwife and knowing our Princess is growing fine. Hearing her healthy heartbeat and getting solutions to help cope with my back pain. Grrr.
Miss Anything? Being able to bend over.. it's very uncomfortable having to squat all the time! Ha! I guess I am officially at that uncomfortable stage where I feel big & heavy and out of breath all the time, so definitely looking forward to feeling 'normal' again :)
Movement? Heaps and Heaps especially when it's just us lying down chilling! Midwife says  she is lying across my tum, so hopefully on our next visit she will be in the head down position.
Food Cravings? Omg... Anything Spicy, So bad! Especially 'Thai' food. Craving that heaps lately.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope, Probably over-eating makes me feel queasy! Bad Habit! Haha.
Gender? Girl!
Labour Signs? Nope.
Symptoms? Heartburn, Fatigue, Shortness of breath, doesn't help my lungs are all squashed up in there. Lol.
Belly Button in or out? Out :)
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy - but most of the time moody this week! Grrr! Beware! My poor Flatmates.. haha!
Looking forward to? Setting up my Princess cot again. Going through all her baby clothes. Being able to hear her heartbeat again at my next appointment. Hoping for another scan, dying to see her again, although they say the next time I will see baby is when I give birth, but hoping to pursue them to give me one! Ha! - Again since I suffer from EBS (Early-bird Syndrome) I have already packed my Maternity bag for baby. 2 months before due date. I will probably take it out and do it again! Ha! But for now, it's always good to be prepared :)

Maternity Bag: $30.00.
(Wish I kept Isis bag - Grr)

Packed with Pink - Mostly with Isis's hand-me-downs.
(Thank God for Storage)

Some Essential's for baby if I have to stay in the hospital.
(Still need to buy Nappies)

Isis's going home bodysuit when she was born.
I loved this. It fitted Isis perfectly and kept her snug on
our way home from the hospital.
Now it's time to pass on her to Little Sister :)
(Thank you Aunty Rocky & Vee Faletolu)

With Love.
